[Audio LAB Recommended 2024-2025 High-End] High-End Power Amplifier of The Year -- Goldmund TELOS 4800
The Goldmund TELOS 4800 isn't simply an ultra high-end power amplifier, but a perfect combination of ultra-luxury design, like a Patek Philippe in the watch world, with sound quality proven by generations of audiophiles. This isn't just a simple downsized version of the TELOS 8800, but a worthy successor to replace the old flagship TELOS 5500 Next Gen.
The TELOS 4800 is equipped with Goldmund's proprietary power capacitor system, along with amplification circuit components shared from the TELOS 8800 - currently the most expensive power amplifier. This is a perfect combination of familiar ultra-wide-bandwidth amplification technology and Goldmund's latest amplification circuit improvements, allowing the amp to control timing and reproduce sound accurately.
In terms of sound, the TELOS 4800 is truly a refined smaller version of the TELOS 8800, with significantly upgraded technical precision and micro details compared to the last generation. Notably, midrange brings more musical character and subtle sweetness, while maintaining accuracy in tempo and timing - characteristic of Goldmund amplification. This new tonality not only enhances the listening experience but also makes the TELOS 4800 more versatile, capable of harmonious pairing with various speaker lines, from neutral speakers to those with distinct characters.
The Goldmund TELOS 4800 embodies perfection in the ultra high-end world: from luxury design, cutting-edge technology to excellent sound quality. Wide recognition from the audiophile community has confirmed the TELOS 4800's deserving position as the Audio LAB Recommended High-End Power Amplifier of The Year 2024-2025.
